Chinese Foreign Ministry says China is not Going to Sell Drones to Russia

China denied a report by the German magazine Spiegel about China’s intention to sell drones to Russia .

This was stated at a daily briefing by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin, writes CNN.

China’s Foreign Ministry says the country takes a “responsible approach” to military exports and does not sell weapons to conflict zones.

“China has always taken a prudent and responsible approach to military exports and does not sell weapons to conflict zones or warring parties. What I know is that there has been a lot of misinformation about the Chinese side in this regard lately, and the intentions behind this deserve to be caution,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a daily briefing.

Recall that yesterday Der Spiegel wrote that Beijing and Moscow are negotiating the purchase of 100 attack drones, which can be delivered as early as April.

Earlier, we wrote that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the administration of US President Joe Biden has evidence that  China is considering providing military assistance to Russia , as well as assistance in evading sanctions. Washington urges Beijing not to do so.
